Raise Money for your Agency with Food Bank of the Albemarle’s Dine Out to Help Out!

Dine Out to Help Out – September 12, 2017
The 2nd Dine Out to Help Out of the year is rapidly approaching. Being held in conjunction with Hunger Action Month, this Dine Out event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 12th and will focus on restaurants located in Beaufort, Bertie, Gates, Hertford, Hyde, Martin, Northampton, Tyrrell and Washington counties. This is the perfect opportunity for your agency to become engaged with this wonderful fundraising opportunity while earning credit for your agency’s food distribution efforts. Each participating restaurant is agreeing to donate 10% of the day’s proceeds, including breakfast, lunch and dinner if they are open for all three meals. Your agency will receive 50% of the contribution for any restaurant that you register to participate that has not previously participated in Dine Out to Help Out before. This will appear as a credit on your agency’s food bank account and must be used by June 30, 2018.

This way we will avoid multiple agencies approaching the same restaurants. We recommend you start with restaurants with whom you already have a prior relationship or connection.

34th Annual Walk has a NEW date and time!

Food Bank of the Albemarle’s annual Walk for Hunger has a new day and time this year! By popular demand, the walk is now scheduled for Saturday, October 7th. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and the Walk at 10 a.m.
