Empty Bowls of the Albemarle
Empty Bowls of the Albemarle is an annual fundraising event held in partnership with local artists, schools, restaurants, and benefits Food Bank of the Albemarle, Empty Bowls is designed to create a greater awareness about hunger in northeastern North Carolina. We’re excited to announce that the 2018 Empty Bowls Event will be held at Museum of the Albemarle! The Preview Party and Silent Auction will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; the Luncheon will be held Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Empty Bowls is a great opportunity to enjoy delicious foods provided by our local restaurants, gather with friends, while also helping to fight hunger in northeast North Carolina. This is certainly an event you don’t want to miss!
Tickets for the Preview Party and Silent Auction, which also include the luncheon on the following day are $40 in advance. Or, tickets can be purchased for the luncheon only for $20. Each ticket holder may select one piece of handcrafted pottery made by local artisans and arts education programs to take home as a keepsake and reminder of the estimated 58,000 people across the Albemarle area who are struggling with hunger every day.
