This year marks the 10th Annual Walmart & Sam’s Club “Fight Hunger, Spark Change” Campaign!
Over the past 10 years, Walmart has partnered with Feeding America and Food Bank of the Albemarle to bring awareness to hunger in the communities we serve here in northeastern NC.
Walmart supports Food Bank of the Albemarle not just through this campaign, but year-round! Each year we pick up thousands of pounds of food from local Walmart stores.

“I have diabetes, and do not receive much in food stamps (SNAP). It takes the little that I receive to ensure that I get healthy foods. It is nice to get food from the Food Bank to supplement what I can get with my monthly income.“
You can support the Food Bank through this campaign by purchasing specially marked in-store products (look for signage). You can also donate at the register in your local Walmart store to provide meals:
