Tour The Food Bank

The Food Bank of the Albemarle offers tours of our 44,000-square-foot facility located at 109 Tidewater Way in Elizabeth City.

Interested individuals, corporate, community, or school groups will learn more about the Food Bank and how hunger and food insecurity affect our 15-county service area in northeastern North Carolina.

Tours are approximately 25-30 minutes and are scheduled during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.  Please contact us to discuss the possibility of an off-hour tour.

We will do our best to accommodate each tour request but ask all tour organizers to please be flexible. Your tour date is not confirmed until you are contacted by a member of our staff.

Information about our tours:

  • All tours must be pre-arranged
  • Due to safety regulations, tour participants MUST wear closed-toe shoes. Open-toe shoes, sandals, flip-flops, or high heels are not allowed in our warehouse.

Please contact us at brgray@afoodbank.org to schedule your visit or call 252-562-8148.
