For every $1 raised, the Food Bank can provide the equivalent of four meals to individuals and families who are faced with hunger!
For this year’s event, we expanded to a week to give participating restaurants and patrons more ways, and more days to dine. Participating restaurants agreed to donate a percentage of their day’s proceeds (during the week of June 3rd – 9th, on a day of their choosing) to support Food Bank of the Albemarle and hunger-relief efforts.
Established in 1995, Dine Out to Help Out was created in response to Food Bank of the Albemarle’s need to continue providing healthy, nutritious food to families facing food insecurity in northeast North Carolina.
